Each time, the self-described mentalist and “motivational speaker with a ‘WOW’ factor” was able to divine the truth. What he couldn’t predict was the outrage his $3,200, expenses-paid poolside gig would cause in Washington after his bill showed up on the General Services Administration’s $823,000 tab from a Las Vegas spending spree.
But what works in the corporate world does not necessarily fly in the federal government, where taxpayers, not shareholders, have to foot the bill.
Garner’s booking at the sumptuous M Resort Spa Casino off the Las Vegas Strip, where GSA flew him from California in October 2010, has become a head-scratching symbol of a major spending scandal.

US police forces train with Israel’s Mossad agents, treating peaceful American protesters like terrorists, an online columnist tells Press TV.
Experts say US police are increasing their use of excessive force against protesting students.
Earlier this week, US police used pepper spray and heavy-handed tactics against students in California’s Santa Monica College against their college’s tuition policies. A four-year-old girl is among the at least 30 victims.
Last November, students at a University of California campus were also pepper sprayed by police.
Press TV has conducted an interview with Allen Roland, online columnist, to further discuss the issue. The following is a transcription of the interview.
Press TV: Mr. Roland. What we’ve seen in the last past months is people and, in this particular case, students exercising their constitutional rights staging peaceful protests. Why then are we not seeing America going back on its own Constitution – the First Amendment I’m pointing to?
Roland: Let me just say that the Constitution is being shredded right before our eyes. What we’re seeing here is a militarization of the police force.
You do not realize but a lot of these police forces across the country have been trained by Mossad. They’re using the same techniques that Israel uses with the West Bank people and the Gaza people right here in the United States.
What do you mean? What I mean is this, is that these people are being treated more and more like what? -Terrorists.
The militarization of the police force is one of the most outrageous acts that is happening right now. According to the Constitution, that is illegal. But that has been shredded.
Right now the president has the opportunity to do this – to basically kill anyone without due process that’s been passed by Congress.
This is going to get worse before it gets better, as I’ve been saying for months, as we approach the election.
But also, don’t forget, students are carrying one of the most heavy debt loads of any country in the world in the United States. The average student loan is something like 32,000 dollars. And tuition is going up.
There’s a lot to be angry about, and the police are militarized so it can only get worse.
Press TV: As you said, the case will only get worse. If this trend happens to go on, in the foreseeable future how will this portray America’s international image as what it claims to be the standard bearer and the flag bearer in defending human rights?
Roland: That is totally laughable. We are no longer the standard bearer of human rights at all. And if the whole world is already looking at us with chagrined looks, but not shocked looks, because we already have the reputation of being a rogue nation and not living up to what we say.
The problem is our Constitution is being shredded before our eyes. You’re going to see more and more actions like this particularly in college campuses across the country. We saw it in UC Davis, we saw it back east, we saw it today in Santa Monica, and it will continue.
This is not a laughing matter. This is shocking! But it’s happening and it will happen in an increased level right up until the election.
What’s happening is also this, is that the police forces have been [fortified]. The Department of Homeland Security has just bought 450 million rounds of hollow bullets. These are bullets that are meant for human beings.
So what are they arming themselves for? They’re arming themselves for the people who are revolting against the administration and the establishment.
As I’ve said before on Press TV, eventually the will of the people will meet the will of the government or the establishment and that’s not going to be pretty.

The Transportation Security Administration is set for yet another major embarrassment next week with Jon Corbett, the engineer who recently put the federal agency to shame by exposing the uselessness of its $1 billion dollar body scanner program, promising to release a new video of ‘epic’ proportions.
Corbett’s March 5th video, which has so far received almost 1.9 million views after going viral and appearing in hundreds of news stories, exposed how the TSA’s radiation firing body scanners can easily be fooled by securing an object inside an external pocket sewn on to an item of clothing.
The video shows Corbett carrying a metal case through the scanner, away from his body in his side pocket. Corbett explains that because metallic objects appear as black on the image the scanners produce, the machines do not pick up such objects if they are obscured by the background, which is also black.
The TSA’s response to the controversy was both glib and totally pathetic – the federal agency didn’t even try to deny the fact that Corbett had revealed the body scanner program to be completely useless for the purpose the TSA claims it was designed for.
However, the TSA did resort to threatening mainstream news reporters not to cover the story. The reporters cited a TSA spokeswoman called Sari Koshetz as the person attempting to intimidate them out of covering the issue. They say that Koshetz described Corbett as someone who “clearly has an agenda” that “should not be aided by the mainstream media”.
Following the interest generated by the story, Corbett attempted to obtain video footage of himself defeating the body scanners at Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport under the Freedom of Information Act, efforts that have so far been resisted.
Corbett is still engaged in a lawsuit against the TSA’s naked body scanners and its invasive pat down procedures.
Now Corbett has put out a teaser for a new TSA exposé set to be released early next week.
“I’ve been working on producing a new video, which will be on the same level of epicness as the last one in exposing the TSA — and especially the nude body scanner program — as the giant fraud that it is. I’m pleased to announce that my new video will be released early next week,” writes Corbett on his blog.
“No hints, but I promise you’ll like it. Unless, of course, you’re a TSA supporter, in which case… well, apologies in advance.”
The fact that the TSA is set to be embarrassed yet again is hardly a surprise, virtually every week we see a deluge of stories concerning the criminal behavior of the agency’s screeners, but the popularity and importance of Corbett’s previous revelation means we’re waiting on his next effort with baited breath.

Le principe des impôts semble pouvoir s'expliquer par une logique assez simple. Mais beaucoup pourtant ne le saisissent toujours pas. Comme c'est la saison des taxes, laissez-moi vous l'expliquer en des termes simples que tout le monde peut comprendre.
Imaginons que tous les jours, 10 amis se retrouvent pour boire une bière et que l'addition totale se monte à 100 euros (normalement, cela ferait 10 euros par personne).
Mais nos dix amis décidèrent de payer cette facture selon une répartition qui s'inspire du calcul de l'impôt sur le revenu, ce qui donna ceci :
· Les 4 premiers (les plus pauvres !), ne paient rien.
· Le cinquième paye 1 euro
· Le sixième paye 3 euros
· Le septième paye 7 euros
· Le huitième paye 12 euros
· Le neuvième paye 18 euros
· Le dernier (le plus riche !) paye 59 euros.
- Les dix hommes se retrouvèrent chaque jour en fin de journée pour boire leur bière et semblaient assez contents de leur arrangement, jusqu'au jour où le tenancier décida de leur faire une remise de fidélité !
« Comme vous êtes de bons clients, dit-il, j'ai décidé de vous faire une remise de 20 euros sur la facture totale. Vous ne payerez donc désormais vos 10 bières que 80 euros.. »
Le groupe décida de continuer à payer la nouvelle somme de la même façon qu'ils auraient payé leurs taxes. Les quatre premiers continuèrent à boire gratuitement. Mais comment les six autres, (les clients payants), allaient-ils diviser les 20 euros de remise de façon équitable ?
Ils réalisèrent que 20 euros divisé par 6 faisaient 3.33 euros. Mais s'ils soustrayaient cette somme de leur partage alors le 5ème et 6ème homme devraient être payés pour boire leur bière.
Le tenancier du bar suggéra qu'il serait plus équitable de réduire l'addition de chacun d'un pourcentage du même ordre, il fit donc les calculs.
Ce qui donna ceci :
· Le 5ème homme, comme les quatre premiers ne paya plus rien. (un pauvre de plus ? )
· Le 6ème paya 2 euros au lieu de 3 (33% réduction)
· Le 7ème paya 5 euros au lieu de 7 (28% de réduction)
· Le 8ème paya 9 euros au lieu de 12 (25% de réduction)
· Le 9ème paya 14 euros au lieu de 18 (22% de réduction)
· Le 10ème paya 50 euros au lieu de 59 euros (16% de réduction)
Chacun des six « payants » paya moins qu'avant et les 4 premiers continuèrent à boire gratuitement rejoint par le 5ème. Mais une fois hors du bar, chacun compara son économie :
« J'ai seulement eu 1 euro sur les 20 euros de remise », dit le 6ème il désigna le 10ème « lui, il a eu 9 euros ».
« Ouais ! dit le 5ème, j'ai seulement eu 1 euro d'économie moi aussi »
« C'est vrai ! » s'exclama le 7ème, « pourquoi le 10ème aurait-il 9 euros d'économie alors que je n'en ai eu que 2 ? Il est anormal que ce soit le plus riche qui bénéficie de la plus importante réduction »
« Attendez une minute » cria le 1er homme, « nous quatre n'avons rien eu
du tout nous. Le système exploite les pauvres ».
Les 9 hommes cernèrent le 10ème et l'insultèrent.
Le lendemain le 10ème homme (le plus riche !) choisit de ne plus venir.
Les neuf autres s'assirent et burent leur bière sans lui. Mais quant vint le moment de payer leur note, ils découvrirent quelque chose d'important : ils n'avaient pas assez d'argent pour payer ne serait-ce que la moitié de l'addition !
Et cela, mes chers amis, est le strict reflet de notre système d'imposition. Les gens qui payent le plus de taxes tirent le plus de bénéfice d'une réduction des impôts.
Taxez les plus forts, accusez-les d'être riches et ils risquent de ne plus se montrer désormais.
En fait ils vont boire à l'étranger...

Ne le lisez pas trop fort, ça risquerait de s'ébruiter : En catimini, en février 2011, le ministère de la Santé a décidé de multiplier par 5 la concentration maximale autorisée pour les pesticides dans l'eau du robinet. Désormais à consommer avec modération...
C'est l'association Générations Futures, ONG spécialisée dans la question des pesticides, qui a levé le lièvre le 7 février 2012, dans une indifférence médiatique totale.
Depuis 1998, un avis du Conseil Supérieur d'Hygiène Publique de France (CSHPF) tenait lieu de réglementation. Dans une transposition quelque peu olé-olé de la directive européenne 98/83, le CSHPF avait en effet décidé que l'eau ne devait "pas être utilisée, ni pour la boisson, ni pour la préparation des aliments" si un pesticide s'y trouvait à une quantité supérieure à 20% d'une valeur répondant au doux nom de "valeur sanitaire maximale" (VMax, définie par divers organismes : OMS, EFSA, AFSSA...). Une interprétation qui dépassait déjà largement les normes européennes.
Les pesticides, c'est bon... buvez-en !
La "nouveauté", c'est qu'en février 2011, une instruction de la Direction Générale de la Santé (DGS, dépendant du ministère de la Santé), passée totalement inaperçue jusque là, a tout chamboulé. Sans tambour ni trompette, le ministère s'est donc jeté à l'eau et a décidé de porter les "seuils de potabilité" à 100% de la VMax. Soit une multiplication par 5 des seuils en vigueur ! Défoliant Décoiffant !
"Autrement dit : on va tolérer dans de très nombreuses localités des quantités de pesticides dans l'eau 5 fois plus importantes qu'avant décembre 2010 !" déclare François Veillerette, porte-parole de Générations Futures. "Ainsi pour un pesticide comme le folpet, pourtant classé cancérigène probable aux Etats-Unis, on va maintenant tolérer jusqu'à 300 μg/l pendant plus d'un mois alors qu'auparavant on ne pouvait dépasser les 60 μg/l pendant la même durée !" fulmine-t-il.
Le ministère de la Santé en eaux troubles...
Autre conséquence de cette nouvelle mesure sanitaire : la baisse artificielle du nombre de personnes concernées par une présence excessive de pesticides nécessitant une restriction d'utilisation de l'eau. On est ainsi passé de 34 300 personnes touchées par ces restrictions en 2009 à une estimation de 8 939, selon les chiffres du ministère ! De la belle ouvrage...
"Cette amélioration en trompe l'oeil n'est due qu'à une manipulation des valeurs de pesticides acceptées dans l'eau et pas à une véritable amélioration de la situation" proteste François Veillerette qui voit là "la preuve que les autorités publiques ont renoncé à améliorer la situation en changeant les pratiques agricoles en profondeur mais préfèrent changer les graduations du thermomètre que de faire vraiment baisser la fièvre !"...
Et bientôt, au fil de l'eau, il suffira d'arroser son jardin pour le désherber ? On n'arrête pas le progrès...

Aussi incroyable que cela puisse paraître, une véritable révolution démocratique et anticapitaliste a lieu en Islande en ce moment même, et personne n’en parle, aucun média ne relaie l’information, vous n’en trouverez presque pas trace sur « Google » : bref, le black-out total.
Pourtant, la nature des évènements en cours en Islande est sidérante : Un Peuple qui chasse la droite au pouvoir en assiégeant pacifiquement le palais présidentiel, une « gauche » libérale de remplacement elle aussi évincée des « responsabilités » parce qu’elle entendait mener la même politique que la droite, un référendum imposé par le Peuple pour déterminer s’il fallait rembourser ou pas les banques capitalistes qui ont plongé par leur irresponsabilité le pays dans la crise, une victoire à 93% imposant le non-remboursement des banques, une nationalisation des banques, et, point d’orgue de ce processus par bien des aspects « révolutionnaire » : l’élection d’une assemblée constituante le 27 novembre 2010, chargée d’écrire les nouvelles lois fondamentales qui traduiront dorénavant la colère populaire contre le capitalisme, et les aspirations du Peuple à une autre société.

Bangkok, Thailand June 18, 2011 – Out of either desperation or immeasurable hubris, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has just attempted to rewrite the last 3 months of history, contradicting her own department’s statements made during the onset of the Syrian unrest.
Within the pages of the London-based, Saudi-funded Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper, Hillary Clinton joined Barack Obama, Nicholas Sarkozy, and David Cameron in the bizarre trend of Western leaders writing newspaper editorials in an attempt to reinforce the ever changing, ever contradicting official narrative. Clinton’s article titled, “There is no going back in Syria,” oafishly parrots month old corporate-funded think-tank talking points with the addition of hamfisted reversals on the US State Department’s own narratives.
Lie #1: Syrian protests are not the work of foreign instigators.
One paragraph in particular is so astoundingly dishonest and contradictory it almost defies explanation. Clinton states, “If President Assad believes that the protests are the work of foreign instigators — as his government has claimed — he is wrong. It is true that some Syrian soldiers have been killed, and we regret the loss of those lives too. But the vast majority of casualties have been unarmed civilians.”
However, it was Hilary Clinton’s own State Department according to an April 2011 AFP report, that said the “US government has budgeted $50 million in the last two years to develop new technologies to help activists protect themselves from arrest and prosecution by authoritarian governments.” The report went on to explain that the US “organized training sessions for 5,000 activists in different parts of the world. A session held in the Middle East about six weeks ago gathered activists from Tunisia, Egypt, Syria and Lebanon who returned to their countries with the aim of training their colleagues there. They went back and there’s a ripple effect.” Quite obviously the “ripple effect” the State Department is referring to is the destabilization occurring throughout the region, including across Syria.
Additionally, after the Washington Post released cables indicating the US had been funding Syrian opposition groups since at least 2005 and continued until today, US State Department spokesman Mark Toner defended the funding which started under the Bush regime when Syria was added to the “Axis of Evil.” Toner stated, “we’re not working to undermine that [Syrian] government. What we are trying to do in Syria, through our civil society support, is to build the kind of democratic institutions, frankly, that we’re trying to do in countries around the globe. What’s different, I think, in this situation is that the Syrian government perceives this kind of assistance as a threat to its control over the Syrian people.”
Unfortunately for Toner, funding foreign opposition groups and inciting political upheaval is far from a benign act, and more akin to an act of war. It would be unimaginable for another nation to engineer a certain variety of government within the United States because it felt it was more “proper.” Such meddling is a direct violation of a nation’s sovereignty and those within the target nation assisting such meddling are universally known as “traitors.”
Lie #2: The protesters are peaceful.
Extraordinarily, Clinton manages to both confirm and deny the violent nature of the protests by stating that while Syrian troops have died, the vast majority of the deaths (according to unverified reports by the protesters themselves) were “unarmed civilians.”
Clinton’s own admission that Syrian soldiers have died indicates that indeed there are armed groups amongst the protesters. Just as in Bangkok in 2010, during another foreign-funded color revolution, militant gunmen are attempting to escalate the violence intentionally, targeting both protesters and security forces. This is in hopes of reaching a critical mass of violence sufficient for justifying a wider use of overt violence or possibly foreign intervention.
The inability of the US State Department to verify any of the claims coming out of the mostly London-based Syrian opposition is coupled with the impossibility of knowing which Kalashnikov on which side killed who. It is more likely that the Syrian government, knowing full well the consequences of wanton violence, is being as careful as possible when engaging the armed elements even Secretary Clinton concedes are operating amongst the protesters. The Syrian government has been reporting mysterious gunmen since as early as late April, opening fire on protesters and security forces from rooftops. While the corporate-owned media attempted to play this off as Syrian propaganda, the rising death toll of government troops certainly cannot be attributed to “unarmed civilians.” Articles like Christian Science Monitor’s “Has Syria’s peaceful uprising turned into an insurrection?” are attempting to now create the illusion that some sort of justified transition is occurring despite the fact that arsonists and gunmen had been ravaging Syria since the unrest started several months ago.

Similar claims were made in Libya; both that seasoned rebels, driving tanks and manning warplanes with 30 years of foreign-backing for their militant activities were “peaceful protesters,” and that Qaddafi was purposefully targeting civilians. The latter claims were made despite even the corporate-funded think-tanks engineering the conflict stating that Qaddafi was most likely making a point of avoiding civilian casualties.
Further compromising the fantastical paradigm Secretary Clinton is attempting to foist upon the public is the corporate-funded Brookings Institution’s “Which Path to Persia?” report which amounts to a brazen conspiracy to aid and abet terrorist organizations to violently overthrow sovereign nations in tandem with the very same foreign-funded popular revolutions we see now across the Arab world, all with “forms” of US military support on standby if necessary.
The report explicitly states in regards to neighboring Iran, “Consequently, if the United States ever succeeds in sparking a revolt against the clerical regime, Washington may have to consider whether to provide it with some form of military support to prevent Tehran from crushing it. This requirement means that a popular revolution in Iran does not seem to fit the model of the “velvet revolutions” that occurred elsewhere. The point is that the Iranian regime may not be willing to go gently into that good night; instead, and unlike so many Eastern European regimes, it may choose to fight to the death. In those circumstances, if there is not external military assistance to the revolutionaries, they might not just fail but be massacred.”
“Consequently,” the report continues, “if the United States is to pursue this policy, Washington must take this possibility into consideration. It adds some very important requirements to the list: either the policy must include ways to weaken the Iranian military or weaken the willingness of the regime’s leaders to call on the military, or else the United States must be ready to intervene to defeat it.” After identical methods have been employed in Libya, Syria is currently suffering under a similarly prescribed, admittedly foreign-funded, plot backed by armed militants and possibly “some form of military support” from the United States, Israel, or Saudi Arabia. Certainly after several attempts to pass UN Security Council resolutions against Syria, the prospect of wider intervention is also “on the table.”
The Brookings Institution report also boastfully celebrates past exploits and regional manipulations including the arming and backing of the Kurds against Iraq. The report nostalgically recalls, ” When the Shah of Iran, the United States, and Israel began to back Iraqi Kurds against Baghdad, it took only a few years for the Ba’thist regime to move against it—and only a matter of months of unsuccessful military campaigning to convince Saddam Husayn to cut a deal with the Shah to persuade him to cut his ties with the Kurds.” With this admission in hand, we have a historical precedent backing the assertions of the Syrian government that indeed foreign meddlers are at work, both behind the protesters and the armed militants battling the government.
Throughout Hillary Clinton’s lengthy diatribe, she failed to even once condemn the violence she hinted at amongst the opposition. Just as in Libya, these shadowy militants will be denied until the very first NATO bombs strike Syrian soil, where they will then transform into citizen-soldiers nobly fighting for their freedom. In reality they are nothing more than the same ethnic minority groups manipulated and backed for decades against the global elite’s long list of targets throughout the region.
Lie #3: There is no going back in Syria.
The global-elite themselves admit they have neither the logistical means nor the political capital to conduct even a single war in the region, let alone campaigns against multiple nations at once. That is, barring a false-flag attack magnitudes larger than 9/11 and the mobilization of America for total war. Resistance in both Libya and Syria, as well as assistance from Iran, and any other nation disinterested in subjugation under the reincarnated Anglo-American empire could bleed these global elitists to death.
Capitulation under the perception of superiority would be unfortunate indeed. Clinton’s need to pen an op-ed in a London-based Arab newspaper claiming “there is no going back in Syria” only reaffirms the fact that it is far from a foregone conclusion. Such a desperate act of propagandizing is indicative of weakness, not strength. When foisting massive fraud upon the planet, it will always be more people over time realizing it is a hoax than continuing to fall for it. Time is working against the global-elite.
Conclusion
Once again, on the pages of the corporate-funded Brookings Institution report we see months, even years in advance the ploys and gambits that are to play out. Brookings’ “Which Path to Persia?” was the virtual playbook from which objectives and strategies regarding Libya and Syria were and are being drawn from. Understanding that these corporations and the think-tanks they fund are the true architects of Western foreign policy is the first step in ending these heinous crimes being committed in our name and ultimately at our expense.
Hillary Clinton’s brazen lies, unmitigated deception, and her crass insolence is irrefutable evidence that she and the government she works within have abdicated all of their legitimacy. Their open contempt for America’s Constitution while they promote “universal rights” and the will of the “international community” means that we no longer bound to obey them as they are no longer bound to the laws that truly govern our land. The next step of course is undermining these corporations and the puppet institutions that serve them through full-spectrum boycotts and replacing them entirely on a local level.

As the resurrected TSA anti-groping bill cleared the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence, and gathered enough support to pass both chambers, Texas state officials have recounted disturbing stories that highlight how the TSA is using forceful pat-downs as a form of “punishment” to those who opt out of the full body scanners.
“Let me put this delicately. I was still feeling the effects of the pat-down as I sat in my seat from New Orleans to Houston, and then Houston to Austin.” Chairman of the Texas Public Utilities Commission Barry Smitherman told Fox 7 News.

Smitherman described the groping as “aggressive” and recounted an admission by a TSA supervisor that he was being “punished” for opting out.
Texas State Rep. Barbara Nash also told Fox 7 that a TSA agent “moved my legs apart and went up my legs, all the way up, and then she made me stand a different way where she could go all the way up the front., and then all the way up the back of my dress.”
State Rep. David Simpson, who sponsored the original anti-groping bill, House bill 1937, noted “This is a sexual assault in any other activity. If that happened right now, it would be sexual assault.”

HB 1937, the regular session bill banning TSA groping, cleared the House floor but was not taken up in the Senate following threats to effectively implement a no fly zone over the entirety of Texas by TSA officials and a federal judge.
However, the bill was was refiled in the special session: Senate Bill 29, authored by Senator Dan Patrick, and House Bill 41 authored by Rep. David Simpson, as well as 112 co-sponsors (out of 150 Reps.) .
HB 41 was cleared Unanimously by the House Criminal Jurisprudence Committee and the dignity of Texas travelers, including women and children, is now in the hands of Governor Rick Perry, who must call for the bill to be addressed on the House floor.
Senator Patrick declared this week that he has gathered enough support, 18 out of 31 Senators, to successfully pass HB 41. In a letter to Perry, Patrick urged the Governor to consider the bill.
“I have polled the members of the Senate on Senate Bill 29 [the Senate's companion to HB 41] in an effort to bring the TSA anti-groping bill back to the floor,” Patrick wrote.

“As of today [Wednesday], I have the votes to pass it. I hope that with the support of Lieutenant Governor [David] Dewhurst and the coauthorship of more than one hundred State Representatives, this legislation will be added to the call of this special session.”
